NOTICE: CLOSURE OF CENTRAL COAST ONLINE SCANNER

Dear CCOS Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the closure of Central Coast Online Scanner (CCOS) and its associated services, including CentralCoastOnlineScanner.com, RFSPager.com, and PSNScan.com.

Since 2008/2009, scanning has been a passion of mine. During this time, I’ve dedicated myself to providing the community with audio streams, pager decoding, and a variety of online resources. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm has waned, and the effort required to maintain and enhance these services has become increasingly burdensome.

The escalating costs of electricity and equipment have made it financially unsustainable to continue. Despite my best efforts to resolve signal reception issues by replacing the antenna, another deeper and more complex problems have persisted. A recent power surge also damaged several crucial and expensive pieces of equipment, and I can no longer justify the costs of replacement.

As a result, all mentioned sites will be closed by the end of the week and will cease to function. Rest assured, all personal data, including names and emails, will be deleted to ensure privacy and security.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Servers Australia for their unwavering support over the years. Additionally, I am deeply grateful to the people who also contributed sending their pager messages to RFSPager.com. Your involvement made all of this possible.

This is Sonic, signing off. Going clear. Over and out.
